My family runs a small lavender farm in Southwest Colorado, which is how my journey in entrepreneurship began. After running the farm for a year, I decided to focus on producing artisan gifts using the farm's harvest. Through Claire West Studio, I make custom favors for small-to-medium-sized events.

In my early twenties, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. After surviving that experience, I needed my life to not only serve a purpose, but to be enjoyable as well. What I enjoy—and find meaningful—is connecting with people.
